Swachhata hi Sewa

As a part of the series of activities organized under Swachhata hi Sewa campaign from
17 th September, 2024 to September, 2024 to 1 st October, 2024 and Swachh Bharat
Diwas on 2 nd October, 2024, NSS Unit of GDC Mahanpur organized ‘Signature
Campaign’ for Swachhta on 19 th of September, 2024. The goal of the Signature
Campaign was to collect signatures not only from the NSS volunteers and the faculty
members but also from the locals of the community to raise awareness regarding
Swachhta as well as to take responsibility for making India clean and green. Such
Campaignsadvocate and promoteCleanliness and sanitation in the educational
institutions, workplaces, public areas, residential areas, etc. The whole event was
organized by Dr. Rupalee Jasrotia, NSS P.O under the able guidance ofthe esteemed
Principal of the College, Prof. (Dr.) Sangeeta Sudan. The Signature Campaign was
initiated with the signature of the Principal Madam. NSS Volunteers, the youth of the
nation, participated with great enthusiasm in the Signature Campaign.Their active
participation symbolizes the positive impact of such programmes in mobilizing and
channelizing the youth for the selfless national service.The faculty members who were
part of the Signature Campaign were Dr. Mohinder Nath Sharma, Dr. Sudesh Kumar ,
Dr. Jogbinder Singh Soodan, Ms.Nisha Bhagat and Dr. Sapna Devi.
